awesome 3d printed metal casting technique: Aka Print-wave metal casting

all credit goes to this channel "Shake the Future"
it uses 3d printer, plaster of paris, and a cursed microwave :)
1# print the mold

#2 pour the paster of paris directly in the mold (Scary looking i know!)

#3 run gcode that remove the bubbles by shaking the build plate

this looks so janky! but kinda genious!
#4 remove the cast, being careful not to remove the 3d print

#5 microwave the mold to help soften plastic for removal

also remove outside and screw holes

#5 connect bottom and top with m5 bolts

#6 dry the mold for 2-5 hours in a oven, slowly increasing the temp as time progresses
#7 cast the metal

Results

killer!
