Poem: Flame

A poem about putting your warm into the world.

you are just a bright signal in the dark.

Glowing orange agenst the back drop of the void

casting your brightness hoping some poor sole will see

dieing extinguishes your flame.

cults, books, love ones. echo your flame. reverberating through the bodies of people youve touched in your life.

Illustration of a vast field of person-shaped orange flames of various genders and descents, glowing brightly in the center of an expansive black void. The horizon line can be seen in the distance, emphasizing the multitude against the void.

some flames burn bright and hot.

some are just a flicker. worried about weither to be blown out by the next gust.

Illustration of a weak and subdued person-shaped orange flame, curled up in the fetal position, barely illuminating its surroundings in the expansive black void. The distant horizon line intensifies the feeling of solitude surrounding the fragile flame.

death come. we cant predict.

burn bright and hot they say.

burn bright.

burn.
